  • What are the differences between each Custom Insoles type?
There isn't much difference, the material used is the same across all the Custom Insole types and the way they are manufactured is the same. However, the difference is how we design them (they all go through the same designing process but are design differently) for example; Comfort Insoles & Walking Insoles When we design the Comfort and Walking Insoles we ensure it is a smooth comfortable arch that fits your unique arch shape not too harsh or not too low. Running Insoles & Cycling Insoles When we design the Running and Cycling Insoles we increase the arch as runners and cyclist like to feel the extra support. We also take into account that running and cycling shoes are slimmer then ordinary shoes so we make the insoles slimmer too so that they can fit in your shoe. We do ask our customers to draw around the insoles that are already in their desired shoe so we can ensure the perfect fit. Plantar Fasciitis Insoles With the Plantar Fasciitis Insoles we make the arch lower (not too low that it doesn't fit your foot shape) as we don't want to create more pain in your foot. But we support your medial arch correctly with Custom Insoles to prevent overextending the plantar tendon. All these types of Custom Insoles are made with polypropylene (which is rigid). We then add top quaility spenco material as a top cover (trusted by certified pedorthits and orthotic lab technicians for over 30 years). Spenco material remains the leading cover for shock absorption, impact reduction and overall foot comfort. Four way stretch nylon helps reduce friction and shear. Splipure Antimicrobial helps control foot odor. We also offer the Flat Spenco Insoles (without any arch support) as some people don't want any arch support just the cushioned comfort. Flat spenco insoles can add cushioning to footwear that lacks comfort features, like casual or dress shoes. This can make walking or standing for long periods more comfortable without affecting the shoe’s fit or aesthetics. Spenco insoles can be a good choice for people who don’t need arch support but want comfort and cushioning for daily activities or general foot fatigue.

  • Why might my feet hurt, and how can Custom Insoles help alleviate the pain?
Foot pain can result from various underlying issues including heel pain, plantar fasciitis, foot pain from standing or walking for extended periods, and overpronation. Heel pain and plantar fasciitis are often caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes. Overpronation, on the other hand, occurs when your foot rolls inward too much while walking or running, leading to strain on your feet, legs, and even back. Custom-made Insoles can help alleviate foot pain by providing the exact support and cushioning your feet need. Unlike generic insoles, our Custom Insoles are designed specifically for your foot shape and the manner in which you walk or run. This precise fit helps distribute your body weight more evenly across your feet, reducing pressure on sore areas and preventing excessive inward rolling. In doing so, Custom Insoles can significantly ease the discomfort associated with heel pain, plantar fasciitis, and overpronation. By aligning your feet properly, they can also improve your overall posture and reduce the strain on other parts of your body. Priced at £149 per pair with free UK shipping, Custom Insoles ensures that you get high-quality, personalised foot orthotics delivered right to your door. I would recommend the comfort insoles if you have any type of foot pain. Although we try very hard and have a fantastic record of treating foot pain, obviously we cannot guarantee that you'll be completely cured of foot pain, but we promise to do our best to help you.
